Legacy Circle

"Growing up on the Range as the daughter of a rural physician, I became keenly aware of the importance of good medical care in rural areas. I saw first hand, the joy and satisfaction my father felt through helping patients in his community. He, in turn, meant the world to them, providing medical services with wisdom and kindness.

Through my volunteer work, I see that same need exist in rural communities today. I wanted to offer financial assistance to medical students who will one day provide medical services to children and families in rural areas. To that end, my family and I have set up a scholarship through the Community Foundation as a planned gift. I also believe that this is a meaningful way to honor my father's work. This is a legacy I believe in, it was simple to do, and will last forever."

The Legacy Circle recognizes and embraces those individuals who have made a gift in their will or a planned gift to the Community Foundation. These gifts to the Community Foundation will have meaning and impact on our region’s communities forever. When you choose to remember the Community Foundation through a planned gift, you become a part of our Legacy Circle. Members are listed in promotional material and invited to special events—unless, of course, you wish to remain anonymous.
